Chopped strand matting and roving cloth rolls
used alternately in the 12 layer lay-up on every Ribcraft.
This results in a hull thickness of 12mm with additional
reinforcement laid in the keel making it some 24mm thick.
This is probably
the most robust hull lay up in the business and makes for
a heavy
rib with exceptional strength and toughness.
