The new Revenger 31 is powered by twin 275hp Yamaha Hydra Drive ME 422 HO diesels, this latest model has taken Revenger into the super luxury sports boat sector. Now it appears we have in the UK at least three leading edge super sports luxury rib boat builders. Revenger with this latest model confirms without doubt its ranking alongside the likes of Scorpion and Pascoe for superlative performance and top quality build. Attention to Detail The very deep cockpit brought about by the design incorporates externally fitted inflatable tubes. In effect the tube set could be removed and you would still have a conventional sports boat. The tubes come into effect and work with the hull under adverse sea conditions or extreme boat handling situations. The tapered tubes also act as fenders when berthing in crowded marinas in the Solent or Med or elsewhere for that matter, to ensure no damage to either your own craft or others during difficult berthing conditions. The new low profile tinted windscreen which aerodynamically achieves weather protection for the crew works remarkably well. |

Simply Bliss The new helm and navigator seating which is electrically operated and has independent controls which allows for numerous variations from sitting to standing depending on each persons size and particular preference. Together with the lower body wrap around design, comfort and support from these seats was remarkable. These latest rib designs have dramatically moved the goal posts from the cheap and cheerful, lets get on the water craft provided by many UK rib manufacturers, to the mega bucks, no change out of a six figure sum for the super luxury boating fraternity. Likes: Handling and steering, the starboard fitted Console and its
integral toilet/shower compartment, Deep cockpit, Double helm seating,
Oval section tubing for 'A' frame and
grab rails.
Dislikes:
The plastic
hatch covers fitted over the tube valves, the boarding step fitted
to the tubes. |

Spectacular RIBs The handling was superb with the power units matching excellently.
The build quality and fit-out of these Revengers makes them real heavyweights,
ideal for beating up those short sharp tiresome seas. The 31 fitted
with twin 275hp Yamaha
Hydra Drive ME 422HO diesels, loaded
up with 6 adults and a full fuel tank weighing in at 400kg (900 lbs),
was on
the plane in just under 10 seconds, and reached 50 knots effortlessly.
Considering that the Yamahas had just a few score hours on the clock,
the performance will be even more exhilarating once the engines are
fully run in. August 2006 Basic Boat Prices
