RIBsters Meet
Neil Crowden of RIBeye North West kindly hosted a meeting of the North West RIBsters at his new sales office located on his motor car showroom premises at Cheshire Oaks. Neil and his colleague, Phil Geddes, presented the background and philosophy behind this new RIB dealership in the north west.

Drawing upon Neil's experience with customers who have come to expect and receive excellent support services when buying a car, Neil's intention is to provide the same levels of support and service to RIB buyers.

It's a long needed approach to RIB dealerships and should be encouraged. For example he would never expect to sell motor cars to customers who don't have a driver's licence and it's the same when he sells his boats. Every customer who is not qualified to ICC standard is automatically booked on a RYA Power Boat Level II course for 'free'. Success on the course means he will be pleased to sell you one of the fastest power boats around, or RIBs as we know them!

After a tour of the new set-up we retired to the directors executive lounge for a splendid cold buffet and drinks.

A sharing of photographs and RIB stories followed with some interesting tales from new and experienced RIBsters. A wish to hold further meetings and organise some events was discussed. An around Anglesey and a trip to the IOM and perhaps even Dublin, in 2006 looked favourites.

It was discussed that the North West RIBsters forum should be one of the main communication methods with each other and a request to utilise more the dedicated NW RIBsters website at: www.nwribsters.co.uk

An enjoyable evening was had by all and our thanks go to Neil for his hospitality and kind offer to host another meeting in the near future. Special mention and thanks to Phil Geddes who co-ordinated the meeting and Ian & Debs who travelled up from Abersoch especially.
