Suzuki Marine is launching a new and innovative V-Twin DF25, designed for
owners of small powerboats, RIBs and day fishing boats who need a powerful,
yet light and compact, outboard.

This totally new, advanced motor brings the advantages of 4-stroke technology in a compact 69kg lightweight package. This DF25 is the first Suzuki outboard to feature a V-Twin powerhead. The 70º V-bank angle is designed to minimise vibration, without using a counterbalance system, while still providing a compact profile. The V-Twin layout also allows the outboard to be better balanced on the transom, making it easy to tilt.

Twin cylinders, each displacing 269cc (total displacement is 538cc), combine
with 2 overhead valves per cylinder to produce maximum power at only 5,000
rpm. The engine uses a single carburettor for easy maintenance. The DF25's gear shift lever is located in front of the engine, making gear changes easy. The 90º steering provides excellent manoeuvrability and steering friction is set with a handy lever.
