International Boat Show
This year's show was probably the largest of all with the most significant
change being the relocation of the Guinness Bar! This together with
the new Princess Stand effectively
makes the show into five discrete areas including a specially imported
beach, making way for many more exhibitors.
It was interesting to see the influx of RIB imports on display at
the show, both from western and eastern Europe. Brig , Zar, Predator
and Marlin models abounded. How long now before we see rib and inflatable
imports from China?
Alan Priddy & Jan Falkowski
It was good to meet up with
two reknown RIBsters, and old friends, at the Yamaha launch of their
new 315hp inboard diesel. Alan Priddy of course used a Yamaha engine
and outdrive on his Round the World trip and Jan joined Alan
on many of his RIB adventures. Jan is also one of the holders
of the around British Isles World Record. It was
even better enjoying a Guinness courtesy of Alan while we
all caught up on the current RIB scene.

RibCraft
Ribcraft had been reallocated to the new display area adjacent to the main
gate towards the Guinness and Princess Stands which seemed another good spot
for RIBs.

Jason
Purvey of Ribcraft was pleased to be able make a fine
display of all their most popular models on the hard plus more demo
models on the water.
