Two VIBs Join Suzumar Line-Up

Two new models which are the latest cross-over between conventional
inflatables and RIBs are being introduced to the Suzuki powered range of Suzumar boat/engine packages for the 2005 season.

These stylish lightweight 3.1m and 3.5m craft have an integrated floor and V-hull which, when inflated to a pressure of 0.8bar (11.5 psi), is rigid and as strong as a conventional GRP Rib. Maximum payloads for the two VIBs are 620 and 900 kg respectively.

Built to provide family fun and sports action, the V-hull gives outstanding
performance and stability at all speeds and in rough conditions. The floor
incorporates extended inflatable trim tabs behind the transom which contribute to quick planing, excellent directional stability and provide additional buoyancy at the transom allowing larger motors to be fitted when
required.

The large diameter tapered tubes are built from heavy duty reinforced three layer PVC with wide rubbing strakes and the hull from thick double wall polyester filled fabric with an outer layer of ultra tough, hardwearing shafer fabric - both offering excellent durability.

Each craft has four stainless steel davit rings, a transom eye bolt for towing, lifting handles and an all round rope grab handle. A securing point and strap for an external fuel tank is provided at the bow end of the floor.

Folded in just a few minutes and fitting into a single carrying bag, each model comes as standard with seat, a pair of oars, high pressure foot pump and repair kit.
